Today I wanted to share with you about being around people who will encourage you to be a better person

…not those that will discourage you or have you doing things that waste your time.”


Have you noticed how much influence your friends have on you? 

Jim Rohn really affected my idea of what influence my friends are having on me.* Along with many other ideas on this page, he used to always say:

“What do your friends have you doing and is that okay?”

.What things are they encouraging you to see, what books are they encouraging you to read?

Who are your three closest friends? Are they helping you to be successful in your your life’s journey?

Think about this scenario:

To attract attractive people, become more attractive.

To attract more powerful people, become more powerful.

To attract more committed people, become more committed.

Try also to be around people you admire.

If you move down the path of becoming a better person, you will eventually run into those people you are becoming like. 

If you show the desire to improve and have some ambition, leaders often will begin to allow you more and more into their world. Of course not all leaders are good but find the ones you admire and try to be around then more.

You open yourself up to a whole world of knowledge, with different associations and influences.

They share their knowledge with you and you begin to understand business better, their friends may become your friends, and the decisions you will make in the future will be influenced by better ideas and thoughts and attitudes.
