My Personal Story
For many years I wanted a way to create extra income and eventually work my way out of a job. I was tired of doing the same thing and being a wage slave. I’m guessing you can relate!

In 2012 I lost my job as a teacher when our school lost funding.

I tried to create a full time income for myself that first year but failed miserably.

All in all I’ve been in 40 opportunities. Yes I’ve made $1000’s in some of them but could not seem to create the consistency that it took to change my life.
I knew somewhere down deep it all stemmed with a lack of understanding advertising. Now I know with ANY business you start, you have to learn advertising or you might as well just quit.
Another thing that changed for me was the ability to work with a good mentor who has been down the road and done it.

Today I want to share with you about “faith”.
Ever think about what ‘faith” creates?
You ever hear of Walt Disney?
Ever wonder what Walt Disney was thinking when he had the idea of Disneyland?

The reason I was so inspired to write this was because I was confronted by “real faith” this last Easter.
and FAITH is something that every great person has had.
To start, I need to tell you
a concept…
and a story.
The concept is from a book called “The Science of Getting Rich.” It’s a great book filled with life changing ideas inside. …
(Of course I don’t agree with everything)
Ok, so the concept inside the book goes like this:
It describes how some people are givers, some are takers and others are a little of both.
Being a giver is not negative but if you have a martyrs mentality that can be bad. I guess that’s because you don’t RELAX, let your hair down a little and allow yourself to enjoy life.
Being a TAKER can definitely be bad but on the other hand trying to enjoy life and get the most out of it is not a bad thing either.
That’s what having a BALANCE is all about. So how does all this have to do with Easter and Faith?
[I’m laughing]
Yes I will get there!
So now with thestory:
You know in the garden of Gethsemane… Jesus had the opportunity to escape from the Jewish leaders and Romans.
So some might say that Jesus had a martyrs mentality. But I don’t know about that. Jesus is my hero so when this thought came up, I thought about it seriously.
Jesus knew what was coming. It was pretty obvious that the Jewish leaders weren’t going to give up trying to take him down.
He had the option to escape – but with the knowledge that they weren’t about to just give up.
He also had the option to create a resistance against the Romans (which many believed he would do).
So if WE were Jesus, we may have picked the escape route or the resistance route…
but instead Jesus picked to face the Jews and Romans head on and face his death.
IRONICALLY his missIion was about LIFE. Abundant life – NOW and after death. Yes helping, healing and giving knowledge and wisdom was all mixed up in it too.
But most of all his mission was about creating ABUNDANT LIFE by facing the darkness of the world and the darkness inside of us all. Facing the hatred, the anger, the selfishness, the greed, the evil that grips many of us to make bad decisions and hurt others.
To live with joy and vitality, with forgiveness, sincerity and HOPE! This is what Jesus was ALL about.
So how can you have a martyrs mentality when you are enjoying life like never before? Yes, Jesus was a giver but he was a taker too. He took many of the gifts given to him and received Gods love and showed others how to receive it too. A happy balance.
Yet he not only enjoyed life, he found happiness and contentment in standing his ground on what mattered. Jesus decided to head straight into the jaws of death – for he knew that God was stronger than death!
You know, that’s an incredible amount of faith!
And this took an incredible amount of hope.
and not just idle words.
He knew that life was more than just living. It was living for something that mattered. And if you’re asking why Jesus did all this…
really why…
and not just for a cold theological answer…
…then you’re asking the right questions!
So can you see what he was he doing now? Can you see why he risked getting killed for it?
The fact that he was able to stand though the whole ordeal on the cross was ultimately because he cared…
…cared about us…
…about us all.
That he could give us life and hope so we can face the darkness too and to also stand up for the things in life that really matter!
Faith that stands and acts!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

So Jesus penetrated the hearts of mankind with his faith and it hasn’t stopped.
That’s the biggest story or faith I have EVER heard of.
a small amount of faith that moves mountains.
This faith changed my life forever. I hope it has encouraged you too!

Today I want to share with you about Success and failure. So what do you think about it?
Have you ever felt like you just couldn’t accomplish something…like it was just out of reach?

You know life is a strange thing. You can find success in so many areas of your life and then be thwarted for so long in another.
The good news is that success is the “progressive realization of a worthy ideal.”
and NOT “the immediate accomplishment of a worthy ideal.”
Do you see the difference?
Let’s break it down into its components:
Success is… Progressive…(not immediate).
And it’s a progressive realization ( a realization that your getting better).
Success in itself is you reaching out to grow, to get better and become more in a progressive way (or in other words on a daily basis).
Real failure is the giving up and not trying to bring that worthy ideal to pass.
So if your trying and pushing and growing daily with a good attitude that you can achieve it…guess what…?
Your ALREADY having successful actions just by showing up and those will just accumulate like logs on a fire…
until it is lit…
and glows bright…
…at the right time!

Today I want to share with you how Jim Rohn changed my life with this simple little message: “Easy to do, Easy not to do!”
Basically he was saying that success in anything on a daily basis “is easy to do but easy NOT to do!”
What exactly does that mean?
Well let me explain. Many successful habits don’t have to be time consuming or difficult but since they are not difficult to do, they also are easy to neglect. However, if you do not neglect doing them, it is the accumulation of them over time that makes them so powerful!
So next time you find yourself overwhelmed by life’s demands, just hold on to the basics. Whether or not you exercise (for example) half an hour or longer, if your day becomes too demanding, just make sure you exercise a little. The habit is more important than anything else.
Yes the amount of time you spend is important too but when you destroy your habit or are not consistent enough to FORM the habit, that’s when it will all fall apart!
So taking this habit to your business is also the same concept. Build your habit and keep it – even if it’s just five minutes. The daily habit will force your mind to contemplate how to eventually find more time!

You may or not agree with me on this next statement but I thank God every day for allowing me to wake up every day and experience all of this. No matter how difficult life can get, you are still a miracle and shouldn’t forget it!
Now let’s tweak the subject a bit and talk about your happiness and financial success:
Realizing that your attitude is the first step in this endeavor will help you. Your acknowledgment that you are amazing will empower you to be happy and confident.
Do you still have flaws and do dumb stuff? Sure!
That’s all a part of growing and getting better. Learn from your mistakes and move on! Realizing what a miracle it is to just be alive and see this wonderful earth, should help you to be happy! Allow that happiness to inspire you to be effective in your work and create good things in your life!
